Trauma & EMDR Therapy in California & Texas
Nervous System–Informed Care for Lasting Change
You don’t always call it trauma.
Sometimes it feels like anxiety that won’t turn off. Tension that lives in your body. Overthinking every conversation. Reacting in ways you don’t understand — even when you “know better.”
Trauma does not only live in memory. It lives in the nervous system.
I am a licensed therapist serving California and Texas, providing secure telehealth across both states as an EMDR-trained trauma specialist. My work focuses on helping high-functioning adults move beyond coping and into meaningful integration.
If insight alone hasn’t shifted your patterns, you’re not broken. Your system may still be protecting you.

When Trauma Is Still Active
You may notice:
Triggers that feel disproportionate to the moment
Anxiety or panic that appears unexpectedly
Emotional numbness or disconnection
Difficulty trusting or relaxing in relationships
Chronic tension or hypervigilance
Knowing why you feel the way you do — but still not being able to change it
These are nervous system adaptations.
And they can be gently reprocessed.
Trauma & EMDR Therapy
EMDR therapy helps the brain reprocess experiences that remain stored in an activated state. Instead of managing symptoms indefinitely, we work toward integration.
Our approach prioritizes:
Stabilization before processing
Structured pacing
Nervous system regulation
Attachment-informed care
Sustainable integration
Trauma therapy is collaborative and intentional. Processing begins only when your system is ready.
Serving clients across California and Texas via telehealth.
EMDR Intensives
When Weekly Therapy Isn’t Enough
For some clients, 50-minute sessions feel fragmented — especially during deeper trauma work.
EMDR Intensives provide:
Extended, uninterrupted processing time
Focused momentum
Structured preparation and integration
Reduced start-and-stop activation
Intensives are carefully assessed and available after intake.
Advanced Trauma Treatment Options
For appropriate clients, we also offer:
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
In partnership with Journey Clinical, KAP combines psychotherapy with medical oversight to support individuals experiencing treatment-resistant depression, chronic trauma symptoms, or emotional rigidity.
Preparation and integration are always part of the process.
Additional Services
We also provide:
Individual Therapy
Couples Therapy
Family Therapy
Child & Adolescent Therapy
Group Therapy
Secure Virtual Care
All services begin with a structured intake session to ensure readiness and appropriate pacing.
A Resource for Clinicians
Split by Trauma is a clinically grounded guide for therapists working with complex trauma and dissociation. It reframes fragmentation as adaptation and centers safety, pacing, and ethical care.
What You Can Expect
Your first step is a structured intake session.
We assess:
Clinical history
Current nervous system patterns
Readiness for EMDR
Whether weekly sessions or intensives are appropriate
This is not rushed therapy.
It is thoughtful, paced, and aligned with your system.
You Don’t Have to Keep Managing This Alone
If you are ready for trauma-focused EMDR therapy in California or Texas, the next step is simple.
